(Spirit Lake)– A local financial institution is making a contribution to the Spirit Lake Kiwanis Foundation’s splash pad project at Memorial Park.
Central Bank announced Friday it’s donating $10,000 toward the outdoor water playground that will feature sprinkler arches, a water dome, post and nozzles controlled by hand-activated motion sensors.
Construction on the $150,000 project is to start this summer in conjunction with the renovation of Memorial Park and Lake Street between Highways 9 and 71 and Gary Avenue.
