(Undated)– Authorities are pleading with people as of mid-day today (Friday) to stay OFF the roads as blizzard conditions continue. Dickinson County Engineer Dan Eckert tells KUOO news county plows are being pulled off the roads effective at 12 Noon today (Friday) and that they will only be operating in emergency mode after that, meaning they will have staff at county shop facilities in the event of some sort of emergency.
Visibility has been getting even worse as the day has been progressing, especially in rural areas. A number of roads are either impassable or nearly impassable due to very large drifts and stranded vehicles.
