Local Author & Music Historian To Put On Programs At SL Public Library

(Spirit Lake)– A local author and music historian will be the keynote speaker at an event next week at the Spirit Lake Public Library. Library Director Cynthia Davis says Tom Tourville will be putting on a presentation this coming Tuesday, December 17th at 6:30 pm…

“We have a set of Tom’s books and they are “Sun, Sand, Surf and Sidewalls. And I think the third one just came out this year. So we have Tom coming in and he’s going to talk about that set of books and the research he did. I’m sure there will be music so that will be good too, but he’s going to talk about that set of books. And then we also have him coming on the third Tuesday in January and he is going to talk about The Roof Garden Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame type, what he’s done with that. And on the third Tuesday in February he’s going to talk about his House of Blues books.”

Davis says the programs are free of charge and pre-registration isn’t necessary. It will be held in the Library’s Community Room.
