(Linn Grove)– A Linn Grove man faces domestic assault and drug charges after authorities investigated a complaint this past Saturday.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to 1660 490th Street after getting a report from a female who said she was leaving her residence for fear of being assaulted. She reported her spouse was acting strange and was under the influence of a controlled substance.
Upon arriving on the scene, deputies determined a domestic situation had occurred. They also found what’s alleged to be marijuana in the residence and in a vehicle.
39-year-old Eddie Lambert was arrested and charged with domestic abuse; possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Clay county jail.
