(Undated)– You’ll have opportunities this Saturday, February 13th, to hear from local legislators during forums in Spencer and Arnolds Park.
The Spencer Chamber of Commerce will hold another of its “Eggs and Issues” forums at 9:00 a.m. in the council chambers at the Spencer City Hall. State Repesentatives Mike May of Spirit Lake, Royd Chambers of Sheldon and Marcie Frevert of Emmetsburg are scheduled to be on hand, along with State Senators David Johnson of Ocheyedan and Jack Kibbie of Emmetsburg.
The Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a forum at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 13th) in the Hedberg Theatre at the Iowa Great Lakes Maritime Museum in Arnolds Park. May and Johnson are scheduled to be on hand at that event.
The forums are open to all interested persons.
They come at a crucial time, following today’s (Fri., Feb. 12th) funnel deadline at the statehouse.
