(Undated)—Legislative forums resume this Saturday in Spencer and Arnolds Park.
The Spencer Chamber of Commerce will hold another in its series of “Eggs and Issues” legislative forums this Saturday beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the council chambers at Spencer City Hall.
State Senator David Johnson and Representative Megan Hess have confirmed they’ll be on hand. Invitations have also been extended to Representatives Jeff Smith and Dan Huesman along with Senators Tom Harkin and Charles Grassley and Representative Steve King. Invitations have also been sent to the Governor and Lt. Governor as well as some other state officials.
The forum in Arnolds Park, sponsored by the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, begins at 11:30 a.m. in the Hedberg Theatre of the Maritime Museum building. Representatives Smith and Hess and Senator Johnson are scheduled to be on hand for that event.
Lawmakers will give an update followed by a question-and-answer session.
Both events are open to all interested persons.
