Last Wrestler Injured In Car Crash Released From Hospital

November 22, 2014

(Sioux City)– The last of five Westwood wrestlers injured in a fatal car accident near Hornick has been released from the hospital.

Officials at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City say 16-year-old Trent Baker has been released.

His release comes nearly three weeks after an accident near Hornick that killed Brad Haburn of Spencer and seriously injured five Westwood wrestlers and their coach, Dan Thompson.

The crash occurred along Highway 141 when the SUV carrying the Westwood wrestlers collided with a minivan driven by Haburn.
