(Spirit Lake)– Lakes Regional Healthcare has a new Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
It was announced today (Wednesday) Steve Alger has been appointed to the positions.
Alger begins his new job November 16th.
Alger comes to Lakes Regional Healthcare from Community Housing Initiatives in Spencer where he served as CFO. Previously he served as the Controller for Pure Fishing. Prior to moving back to northwest Iowa in 2003, Alger was the Plant Controller for GE Interlogix in St. Paul and did public accounting work for several years.
Alger holds a Masters Degree in Finance from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis and a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of Iowa.
