(Okoboji)– A lakes area marina has made a sizable contribution to the Humane Society of Northwest Iowa.
Parks Marina recently donated $1,000 to the organization.
The money was raised in a “poker run” during its annual Crownline Rendezvous July 22nd and 23rd.
The marina says over 500 “Crownies” from throughout the upper Midwest participated in this year’s event, which included a weekend of boating, games, food, music and kids activities.
Parks Marina has been named the number one Crownline dealer for four years running.
