(Arnolds Park)– A well known lakes area businessman and a current member of the Arnolds Park City Council has passed away. James “Jim” Jensen was 74.
Jim was a previous manager and owner of Okoboji Boat Works and was previously a captain of the Queen II. Jensen most recently was a realtor with Jensen Real Estate.
Jim passed away last Thursday, November 14th, at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
A celebration of life for Jim will be held Friday, December 13th, at the Arnolds Park Museum, just north of the Iowa Great Lakes Maritime Museum building. The come and go event will be held that day from 4:00 until 6:00 pm. Robinson Funeral Home of Spirit Lake is handling arrangements for the family.
