(Spirit Lake)—A lakes area bank has been recognized as a “Blue Zones Worksite”. Northwest Bank received the designation after completing various pledge actions, including creating a culture of health and well-being at each of its locations.
In order to achieve the designation, a business must complete various pledge actions. Each is assigned a certain number of points. A business must receive atleast 78 out of a possible 117 points to receive the designation.
Spirit Lake is one of 19 Blue Zones Project demonstration sites in
Iowa.
