(Spirit Lake)– A Spirit Lake attorney has been admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. Larry Stoller says his admission stems from a case he’s been working on that has constitutional issues that could make its way on appeal to the nation’s highest court. He says the issue is application of a newly passed law that pertains to a previous criminal court decision.
Stoller has also been admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa and the U.S. 8th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Stoller has practiced law in Spirit Lake since 1980 in both civil and criminal matters and is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association.
