(Lake Park)– Lake Park residents are being asked to curtail their use of natural gas throughout the day today (Saturday).
Officials say a Northern Natural Gas high pressure main was compromised Friday in the area of 110th Avenue and 130th Street, north of Lake Park. Crews worked well into the night Friday to stabilize the line. They were able to do that without any incidents. Several roads surrounding that area were barricaded, and the Lake Park Fire Department stood by as a precaution.
Crews will begin making repairs to the line today (Saturday).
