(Arnolds Park)– An event that’s become extremely popular the past several years with the University of Okoboji Winter Games will NOT be taking place for 2025.
In a Facebook post, Steve Boote, organizer of the Boji Kite Festival, says they “will be taking a sabbatical this year.” It goes on to say “Our hope is that we can be be back bigger and better in 2026.”
The popular Winter Games event brought kite flyers to the Iowa Great Lakes from throughout the country and even internationally.
