(Okoboji)– The Dickinson County Nature Center will hold its Kenue Coffee Hour this Thursday, October 2nd, at the Maser Monarch Lodge. Amy Heibult, Community Relations Coordinator for the Dickinson County Conservation Board, tells KUOO news representatives of the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation will be the keynote speakers…
“We have leaders Brian Fankhauser, Heather Jobst and Ryan Schmidt that are all going to be sharing about the local restoration efforts including The Narrows Preserve and how they’ve also partnered with Dickinson County Conservation Board on some of our properties here. We’re really excited to hear what they all have going on.”
The event begins at 10:30 am and is free of charge…
“All adults are welcome. We have a light coffee bar to enjoy while you’re hearing these speakers, and it’s a great time just to join in on the conversation on what’s going on.”
