(Spirit Lake)– Jury selection got underway Tuesday and is ongoing in the trial of a former school bus driver accused of sexually abusing a student.
Steven Titterington was charged back in October of 2020 when he was employed as a bus driver with the Okoboji Community School District. Titterington was charged with one count each of sexual abuse in the 3rd degree and sexual exploitation by a school employee. Another count of child endangerment has since been dismissed by the court.
The jury selection process was to continue today (Wed.) but court will NOT be in session due to the weather. It is tentatively scheduled to resume at 8:30 am Thursday, weather permitting.
