(Spirit Lake)– We’ve all heard the saying “one man’s junk is another man’s treasure”. Here’s an event that proves that’s actually true.
The ReNew Store and its parent organization the Lakes Community Land Trust will hold their second annual “ReNew-Able Creations” junk sculpture contest June 15th through the 17th in Spirit Lake. Teams of up to three artists may register for one of 12 open slots in this year’s competition.
A live auction of the sculptures will be held after the judging on June 17th.
The registration fee is $50 per team. Registration and more information is available by calling 336-1068 or by stopping by the store during regular business hours.
