(Spencer) -The Spencer Police Department says that a burglary at Lincoln School targeted Jump Rope for Heart money, as well as raffle tickets at about 6 am on Wednesday, March 13. Police say someone got away with cash and checks that were in the Jump Rope for Heart envelopes.
While the investigation is underway, Spencer Police suggest that anyone who wrote a check for the cause may want to contact their bank to stop payment on the check.
Jump Rope for Heart is a popular fundraising tool for the American Heart Association.
