(Okoboji)– Lakes News Shopper founder John Adams, Sr. will be joining the staff at the Pearson Lakes Art Center effective this coming November 15th.
It was announced today (Monday) Adams has been hired on a part-time basis as the center’s new Community Outreach Director.
Adams is Director of Development for First Lutheran Church in West Okoboji, is a member of the Arnolds Park city council, Chairman of the Dickinson County Republican Party, and is a founding board member of Dickinson County Pheasants Forever.
Adams will be retiring from his duties at the Lakes News Shopper, where he currently is in ad sales and still does some writing for the paper.
