(Jackson, Mn.)– The Jackson County Central School Board voted Monday to suspend the search for a new superintendent and enter negotiations with Dr. Mike Neubeck, Interim Superintendent.
A statement released by the school board says six applications were received for the position and that after reviewing the candidates and using the information from the community survey, “it was determined that Dr. Neubeck was the clear choice for JCC moving forward.”
The statement goes on to say that by suspending the search, the district will spend $6,400 on consultant fees and not the $11,900 had the board gone through the entire process.
