(Jackson, Mn.)– A senior at Jackson County Central High School has been some financial assistance for college.
Aliza Liepold of Lakefield is the recipient of a $2,500 scholarship through the Federated Rural Electric/Basin Electric scholarship program. She plans to attend the University of South Dakota and major in biology and then seek an optometry degree.
Liepold is the daughter of Wes and Amber.
The Federated/Basin program has awarded scholarship funding to 40 students totaling more than $42,000 since 2008.
Federated REA is headquartered in Jackson.
