(Jackson, Mn.)– The search for a new superintendent at Jackson County Central is about to kick into high gear. Interim Superintendent Dr. Mike Neubeck says patrons of the JCC School District are being asked to participate in a survey that will help determine the qualities they’re looking for in a new superintendent…
“There is online, a survey that we’re asking community members and students to go on and complete. It’s really important that they do that. The deadline is February 10th. But that’s where MSBA, who is the consultant, will take all that information and compile all that information, and then they give it to the school board. March 2nd is the deadline for applicants to apply. So what they’re going to do is put all that information together from the survey and they will use that to choose their applicants. They will bring in anywhere from three to six people to interview and the first round of interviews and all interviews at any of these meetings that they have are open to the public, but the first round of interviews will be at the district office I believe on Saturday, March 21st.”
Dr. Neubeck says the board hopes to announce a new superintendent at the end of March.
