(Sioux Falls, S.D.)– A toddler from Jackson has died after falling out of a third floor window of a Sioux Falls hotel this past weekend.
A police report says CPR was performed on the scene and that the toddler, identified as Madden Hein, had a pulse but remained unresponsive. Police haven’t given any other details into Saturday’s incident. The toddler was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital. In a social media post, the child’s mother, Kathryn Hein, announced Madden passed away Monday.
A Go Fund Me account has been established to assist the family. Donations may also be dropped off at Bank Midwest in Jackson, where a special account has been established.
Kathryn Hein says Madden’s organs will be donated, and that an honor walk is being planned.
