(Jackson, Mn.)– Jackson residents are being encouraged to participate in a survey regarding trails and recreational amenities in the city. Luke Ewold is a member of the city’s Parks and Trails Board. He says the last survey was done about three years ago…
“Some of the stuff has been worked on. We’ve got the dog park up and that was something folks wanted to see, we got that done. Some of the playground equipment more inclusive, ADA compliant, that’s been worked on. I know there’s more that folks want to see with the playground stuff, so take the survey and share some ideas with us because I understand that folks want to see more.”
Jackson resident Logan Lynn is also promoting the survey. Lynn says he specifically would like to see input on what he refers to as a “Bird and Bloom” project he’s proposing for Jackson…
“Because we do have the river running through town. We have 11.8 miles of trails for people to walk on. So if we could bring, you know, like conservation and education right to people’s back yards rather than them having to drive out to the middle of nowhere to see a live prairie, if we brought it here gives people a chance to get out and about and really enjoy the community and really take some pride in what their community and they’re able to do here.”
The online survey is available through March 16th by clicking here.
