Jackson County Fair About To Get Underway

July 25, 2022 Steve Schwaller

(Jackson, Mn.)– The Jackson County Fair begins on Tuesday and goes through Saturday in Jackson.

The week will see a lot of new events among the old ones, and the organizers hope that it will be fun for all. Some of the new events include the youth obstacle challenge, headline musician David Ellefson, a grilling contest, and also fortune teller.

Terri Bargfrede with the fair board has enjoyed her time on the board even though she says it is certainly a lot of work…

“It’s just a lot of coordination that goes on these last few days before the fair. Basically I can’t sleep at night because I think of something that has to be done!”

She hopes everyone will enjoy the fair’s new events, food, and music!

Sister stations KKOJ and Xtreme Country 105.7 will also be broadcasting from the Jackson County Fair throughout the week.
