(Round Lake, Mn.)– A two-vehicle collision shortly after 8:00 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 264 near Round Lake sent one person to the hospital.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 34-year-old Kim Hector of Heron Lake was driving a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix when she rear-ended a 2005 Freightliner semi driven by 37-year-old Michael Muehler of Vesta, Minnesota.
Hector was taken to the Worthington hospital where she was treated for minor injuries and released. No apparent injuries were reported to Muehler.
Moderate damage was reported to the vehicle driven by Hector; no damage was reported to the semi tractor, with minor damage to a Great Dane trailer it was pulling.
Authorities say the road was icy at the time of the collision.
