(Des Moines)– The Iowa Utilities Board has scheduled some more public informational meetings for the proposed Navigator carbon pipeline project. 13 additional meetings are planned, including two in northwest Iowa. They include one scheduled for 12 Noon September 13th at the Forster Community Center in Rock Rapids, and another one at 6:00 pm that evening at Ninth Street Centre in Sibley.
Navigator requested the meetings in a filing with the I-U-B on June 15th, which also included a map with a revised route for the proposed pipeline. It would travel about 1,300 miles across five Midwest states, including Iowa.
