Relay for Life of Dickinson County is holding their annual Daffodil Days fundraiser.
Senior Community Development Manager Dana Kauffman says there are several varieties available. “Throughout the last few years we’ve also added some other fun items that you can purchase that just really remind you of spring. So, on top of the Daffodil Days and the bunches that you can get for $10, you can get a 4″ pot of the dainty daffodils or a hyacinth or tulips. We added that tulips last year and I have never seen something sell out as quickly as those did. So, it was a good addition and you can get one 4″ pots for $15. We also have the Gift of Hope, and what that is if you want to do a donation of $20, we will send one of those mini pots to a local nursing home or cancer center.”
She says orders should be placed soon. “We are taking orders through Friday, February 16th, and there are some local businesses and Relay members that are taking orders. You are welcome to message or call me, and my number is 330-3368. and then we are hoping that delivery week will be the week of March 4th.”
