(Primghar)– The Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Region one 4-H Program has been awarded a $1,000 grant from the Cooperative Elevator Association.
The funds will be used for the 4-H Agriculture Education program and a multi-species livestock program that teaches 4-H youth about care and handling of their livestock projects through hands-on activities.
It will also go toward a food safety and quality assurance program that helps youth understand the importance of raising a safe, nutritious product for the consumer.
