(Arnolds Park)– Veterans from throughout the region will be able to get jump start on this coming Tuesday’s Veteran’s Day holiday with a special event Saturday (11/08) evening in Arnolds Park.
The Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association will be putting on its annual Rock4Vets Show at 7:00 p.m. at the Pavilion.
Two bands, “Sideline” and “The Senn Men” will headline the entertainment.
Dallas Clark will open the show by singing the National Anthem and representatives of all five veteran’s posts in Dickinson county will present the colors.
All military veterans will be admitted free; tickets for everyone else will be five dollars each, available at the door. Those attending are also asked to bring a non-perishable food item to be contributed to the Upper Des Moines Opportunity food pantry.
Tom Golden, President of the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association, says invitations were sent to 30 American Legion and VFW posts in a six-county region of northwest Iowa.
