(Arnolds Park)– Officials with the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association say they were successful in meeting a challenge to raise 100-thousand dollars during the month of September.
Now that they’ve reached the challenge, the 100-thousand that was raised will be matched by another 100-thousand dollars from the challenger.
Doris Welle of the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association says they’re very grateful to those who helped them meet the challenge.
Welle says the 200-thousand dollars will help ensure the future of the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association, it’s museum in Arnolds Park, and a special project to teach the history of Iowa rock and roll at schools throughout the state.
