(Des Moines)– The Iowa Utility Commission has set December 9th at 10:00 am as the date and time for a public hearing on a proposed natural gas rate increase being sought by Black Hills Energy. The hearing will be held in the IUC’s Hearing Room at 1375 East Court Avenue in Des Moines.

Black Hills filed an application May 1st, 2024, seeking IUC approval of a revision of rates. The company’s proposed rate increase is pending before the IUC in Docket No. RPU-2024-0001.
