(Spencer)– The Iowa State Patrol is out with some revised details into a head-on crash Friday just north of Spencer that claimed two lives.
Troopers now say that upon further investigation, it has been determined that the Chevrolet Silverado operated by Randal Dykstra of Everly Iowa was southbound in the northbound lanes of US 71. The Nissan Rogue operated by Bridget Baird of Milford Iowa was northbound on US 71.
Both drivers died in the collision, which remains under investigation.
