(Des Moines)– More than two-point-two million people are registered to vote in Iowa, but the Iowa Secretary of State’s Office says just one-point-five are considered active voters.
There are currently more than 590-thousand active Republican voters, Democratic voter registration is 471-thousand. The number of active voters with no political party affiliation is 436-thousand. There are also over eight-thousand voters registered as Libertarian.
