(Okoboji)-There’s a Songwriter’s Showcase on tap Thursday night.

The Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association will present another concert in the Songwriter’s Showcase Series Thursday evening.
Executive Director Clay Norris says, the show will feature Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Alan Morphew. “We’re very excited to have Alan back, and I believe he is bringing a friend along with him, but Alan is just so talented. I mean, he is a singer, he’s a songwriter, he has been a producer out in California. Very, very talented gentleman, a lot of fun to listen to, and is from the area. I think he hails from Estherville.”
That show will be held at The Okoboji Barn Thursday night starting at 7:30.
Norris says there’s also a special Rock the Patio concert slated for Saturday. “It’s The Okoboji Masters Choir, and it is a group of very talented singers from throughout The Iowa Great Lakes area. They are just a treat to listen to. They sing a lot of rock and pop songs for us when they’re on the patio and we are excited to have them back again.”
Rock the Patio concerts are held at The Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Museum on Saturday mornings starting at 11:30.
