(Arnolds Park)– The Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association has announced their Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
Recipients in the Band Category include Cave Band, Acoustic Groove, The South Prairie Band, Artist Band, Murphy’s Law, Standing Hampton and Lizard Creek. Inductees in the Border Band Category include The Floras; Ray’s Midbell Music in the Music Store Category; and in the individual category this year’s inductees include Ryan Sather, Dan Cassady, Steve Hugg, Dan Olsen, Jerry Steinke, Bev Gilpin, Dirk Newton, Chris Montez, Candy Givens, Richie Lee and Damon Dotson. Inductees in the Promoter Category include Steve White, David Bernstein and Adam Feiges. Dan Crouse and Jim Bollard are being inducted in the DJ Category. This year’s recipients of the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award are Carlos Capdivila and Bob Pace, with the Matousek Lifetime Achievement Award going to Walter Chancellor Jr. and Clarence “Pops” Kenner.
2026 Special Achievement award winners, which are not inductions into the Hall of Fame, include The Holy Rocka Rollaz and Valerie Kane for the Spirit Award and Doris Welle for the John Senn Legacy Award.
The Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association’s Hall of Fame Induction Spectacular will be held Labor Day Weekend.
