Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association announces 2024 Rock the Roof Concert Series

February 06, 2024 Becky Thoreson

(Arnolds Park)-The Rock the Roof Concert Series has been announced. KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:

The Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association has announced the line-up for the Rock the Roof Concert Series.
Board President Ralph Kluseman says, most of the concerts will be held at the Majestic Pavilion. “I’m real excited we’ve got the consistency back on Thursday nights starting in June, June 6th. It’s just gonna be incredible. We’ve got the ever-popular D.C. Drifters on June 6th and then we move on to Surfin’ Safari and Richie Lee, Mogen’s Heroes and Rock a la Carte, Starfire and Sean Benz and Lake Patrol, and then we’ve got another group called The Expressions. So, all of that information is actually going to be on our facebook page and on our website. All the shows, with the exception of Richie Lee, will be in The Majestic Pavilion. Richie Lee shows will be in The Roof Garden. The doors will always open at the same time every Thursday night at 5 p.m. and then the entertainment starts at 6 p.m., so you want to get there early and meet all your friends and get ready for a great evening of entertainment.”
He adds that members receive discounted tickets. “The general admission price is $15, but if you’re a member, which, by the way, you can go to our website and click on members and you can join, and when you do that, you get your tickets for $12. Of course, your membership fees go to help us with our programming, reaching out to young kids across the State of Iowa and making their lives better. So, really, it’s for a great cause..”
