(Spencer)– The Iowa Lakes Development Corporation is accepting nominations to recognize outstanding businesses in their four-county service area. Coordinator of Administration and Communication, Alyssa Petersen, says they will once again have four different categories of awards this year…
“We have Entrepreneur of The Year, Large Business of The Year which is over 30 employees, Small Business which is under 30 employees, and then Young Professional of The Year. And so we really are asking the public to submit nominations for all four of those categories of businesses or individuals in your area that are doing great things. As the Corridor, obviously we get to be in touch with a lot of these individuals and businesses but we can’t be in contact with everybody and know exactly what’s going on everywhere and so we need the help of all the public throughout our region as well and people who are interacting with these businesses and people every day.”
Nomination forms can be found at Lakes Corridor-dot-com and must be returned by 4:00 pm Monday, October 31st. The awards will be presented during the Corridor’s 12th annual Business Recognition Luncheon coming up in mid-November.
