Iowa Lakes Community College Music Department to present A Night at The P.A.C. October 4 in Estherville

September 30, 2022 Becky Thoreson

(Estherville)-Iowa Lakes Community College will hold A Night at the P.A.C. Tuesday evening. KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:

The Iowa Lakes Community College Music Department will host A Night at the Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center October 4.
Instrumental Music Professor Carol Ayres says, the event is similar to what was formerly called the Coffee House. “The event grew so large we can’t have it in the lobby anymore, so we’ve moved into The Performing Arts Center. So, it’s everything from students singing solos, all genres, country, pop classical, everything you can think of, plus some of our ensembles will be performing. So, it’s a night all about the students. There may be a community person, I haven’t seen one on the list yet, but you’re more than welcome to perform if you reach out to the Music Department and ask.”
She notes that the event is free and open to the public. “It’s free of charge. It just lets our students have an opportunity to sing whatever they would like to sing or play whatever they would like to play. We have 2 rock bands playing with vocalists. It’s going to be a fun, fun night.”
A Night at the P.A.C will start at 6:30 Tuesday evening on The Estherville Campus.
