(Estherville)– Iowa Lakes Community College Nursing Program achieved an impressive perfect pass rate over the period of December 2022 to May of 2023, far surpassing the National Council Licensure Examination pass rate of 86 percent, and even further above state pass rates of 83 percent.
Tanya Killian, associate professor of nursing, attributes the success to the college’s nursing faculty, administration, and dedication of students.
Recent changes to the tests also means the rate came with a higher bar of difficulty.
