(Des Moines)– The Iowa Department of Natural Resources will host a public meeting via the Iowa Communications Network to hear input on hunting and trapping regulations.
DNR officials will facilitate a discussion about what went well last fall, what didn’t, and what changes hunters and trappers would like to see for this fall. Officials say input on those matters along with data collected by the DNR on harvest and population numbers will assist them in coming up with any rule changes for this coming fall.
The session is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. March 7th and will be downloaded at various ICN sites around the state, including Sheldon and Spencer, locally.
