(Sheldon)– The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation has released the identity of a Sheldon woman found dead in her home this past Thursday. She’s identified as 62-year-old Jody Lynn Duskin.
The DCI says Duskin was found deceased in her home by a family member. The results of an autopsy show the cause of death was homicide.
A suspect in Duskin’s death, Nathaniel Kassel of Rock Rapids, was arrested in Flandreau, South Dakota on one count each of a felon in possession of a firearm and murder in the 1st degree. He was being held in South Dakota pending extradition to Iowa.
The DCI says Duskin is the mother of Kassel.
