(Okoboji)– An Okoboji man has been charged in connection with some recent burglaries at some residences on Lakeshore Drive in Okoboji.
Police say the burglaries and attempted burglaries took place February 15th. They say a subsequent investigation led to arrest warrants being issued for 47-year-old Wesley Vincent Swanson of Okoboji. A search warrant was obtained and executed on Swanson’s residence resulting in authorities recovering a number of items stolen in the burglaries.
Swanson was booked into the Dickinson county jail on charges of burglary and attempted burglary along with aggravated misdemeanor burglary charges.
Okoboji police were assisted by the Arnolds Park Police Department and the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office.
