(Emmetsburg)– An investigation into the theft of 300 gallons of diesel fuel from a farm site in Lost Island Township in Palo Alto county has resulted in the arrest of an Emmetsburg man.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says deputies received the report back on January 22nd. A subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of 50-year-old Steven Farris of Emmetsburg on two valid Palo Alto county warrants for third degree theft and trespassing. Farris was unable to post the 7,125-dollars bond and was booked into jail.
