(George)– An investigation by authorities in Lyon county into a domestic incident resulted in the arrest of a George man. Authorities say they were called to the 300 block of East Dakota Avenue in George on Tuesday after getting a report of a man who had tried to run over a woman with his car. The suspect had fled before deputies arrived.
Upon investigating, 41-year-old Bradly Engelkes was arrested on charges of domestic abuse-1st offense-using a weapon; and domestic abuse-impeding flow of air or blood.
Lyon county authorities were assisted by the Sheldon Police Department in locating Engelkes.
