Investigation Into Complaint Results In Identity Theft, Forgery Charges

(Sheldon)– An investigation into a complaint has resulted in a Sheldon woman being charged with identity theft and forgery.

Sioux county authorities say the charges were filed against 22-year-old Leticia Perez-Avila after an investigation into a complaint they received back on May 22nd.

During an investigation, authorities determined that Perez-Avila had allegedly used a name and social security number belonging to someone else in order to get a job at Premium Iowa Pork in Hospers.
