May 25, 2022 Steve Schwaller

(Wahpeton)– Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will be putting on an informational meeting in June regarding emerald ash borer, now that the invasive pest has been confirmed in Dickinson county. Madeleine Smith of ISU Extension and Outreach Dickinson county says the meeting will address several important things when it comes to the pest which can be deadly to ash trees…

“What it looks like; your mediation; opportunities for either treating trees or how to dispose of trees and just learn a little bit more about the experts in the area that would be able to assist you with that.”

The June 15th meeting will begin at 6:00 pm at Mahan Hall at Lakeside Lab on the west side of West Lake Okoboji.
