(Estherville)– Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative has a new President and CEO. It was announced Tim McCollough will serve in that capacity effective in late January, 2022. McCollough will succeed Rick Olesen, who will be retiring in February, 2022.
McCollough began his electric career in 2004 working for MidAmerican Energy and later for the city of Ames. Prior to joining Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative, McCollough served as Deputy Director of Utilities…Light and Power for the city of Fort Collins, Colorado, a position he held since 2015.
McCollough was born in Iowa and is a graduate of Armstrong-Ringsted High School. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University. He and his wife, Christy, have four children.
