ILCC Trustees Set Fees For Upcoming Year

November 22, 2014

(Spencer)– It’s going to cost a little more to attend Iowa Lakes Community College this fall.

The college’s board of trustees Tuesday set tuition at $139 per credit hour for Iowa and Minnesota students…up four dollars per credit hour from last year.

Bob L’Heureux, Vice President of Administration, says the increase is expected to be the lowest among Iowa’s 15 community colleges for fiscal year 2012.

Tuition for non-residents and international students will be $141 per credit hour. Mandatory fees will remain the same; minimal modifications were made to course fees.

Trustees were also updated Tuesday on progress of the new science lab at the Spencer campus and on the renovation at the Emmetsburg campus for the Veterinary Technician program.
