ILCC Trustees Give Authority To Pursue Possible Purchase Of E’Burg Apartment Complex

November 22, 2014

(Estherville)– The board of trustees of Iowa Lakes Community College Tuesday gave approval for the college’s Executive Director of Facilities Management to solicit bids for heating, ventilation and cooling units for the Emmetsburg campus and was given authority to pursue the possible purchase of an apartment complex near the Emmetsburg campus. The purchase would be subject to the college receiving a “special exemption permit” from the city.

Trustees were also updated on specifications for four-plex housing units to be built in Emmetsburg and Estherville. Trustees will review the proposed specs at their meeting next month.

Trustees of Iowa Lakes Community College also reviewed the college’s annual audit report, which turned up no discrepancies.
